Being a middle school English teacher for twenty years was the most fun, the most rewarding, and the hardest job I've ever had

(after being a mom). 

But I wouldn't even call it a job. 

It was always so much more. 


I hope to return to classrooms one day with my own published books.

I hope my words remind anyone with a shared experience that

they are not alone.
